WineDirect Integration Options

WineDirect offers multiple integration points, giving you ultimate flexibility and control so you can build amazing apps and integrations for your customers. Our integration options fall into three different categories:

1. The All-New WineDirect (ANWD) - Please see below for descriptions of the multiple points of integration for ANWD, including ANWD APIs, BigCommerce APIs, webhooks, and the WineDirect Data Lake.
2. WineDirect “Classic” APIs - Our classic platform offers a set of SOAP APIs that will eventually be shut down once we migrate all of our customers over to ANWD. We discourage any developers from creating new integrations on our classic platform. Please click here for classic API documentation for partners with existing integrations on the classic platform.  
3. WineDirect Fulfillment APIs - WineDirect is a licensed fulfillment house with operations in California, Oregon, Texas, and Ohio. Please contact csoperations@winedirect.com for additional information for integrating with our fulfillment operations.

The All New WineDirect (ANWD)

Please see the descriptions below for the three different integration options for developing apps or integrations for the All-New WineDirect.

All New WineDirect APIs

Please contact Jeff Carroll, VP of Partnerships Compliance (jeff.carroll@winedirect.com), to gain access to All New WineDirect API credentials.

These purpose-built APIs complement the BigCommerce APIs to provide real-time, wine-specific functionality via RESTful APIs.

BigCommerce APIs

The All New WineDirect synchronizes all order, product, customer, and inventory data to BigCommerce so WineDirect clients can leverage the BigCommerce Integrations marketplace and the BigCommerce APIs and Webhooks.

Each ANWD store has an associated BigCommerce store attached to it. You can navigate back and forth from the ANWD UI to the BigCommerce UI easily. After logging in to ANWD, for example, click ECOMMERCE, then Settings, and that will single-sign-on you into BigCommerce and take you to the settings page. Once there, please follow these instructions to create a store-level API account.

The WineDirect Data Lake

The WineDirect Data Lake is a convenient and efficient way to access comprehensive historical information, including data from Classic WineDirect. Orders, customers, products, and wine club information are refreshed hourly from the All-New WineDirect. Orders from Classic WineDirect are refreshed every 24 hours.

Classic WineDirect
