Account Users

This area of your WineDirect Dashboard will show all employee and company users associated with your WineDirect account and their permissions.
To find the User List, Login to WineDirect > Settings > Account Users
Once Account Users has been selected, you will be shown the full user list.
Adding Account Users
Clicking the ADD USER button at the top right of the list will allow Store Admins to invite new users to the storefront.
When adding new Account Users, the following information will be available to input:
Name: This is the name of the User that you have sent an invite to
Email Address: This is the email address the User will receive the email invite. Correspondence to the User will also be done via this email.
End Date (optional): This field is recommended for seasonal or contract workers so that their account is automatically deactivated on this date.
Role: You will have a choice of either setting the User as either a Site Admin or Staff
Status: This will indicate whether or not the User has accepted the invitation you have sent to their email to become an Account User. This is also where Store Admins can Deactivate a user.
Department (Optional): If your company has multiple departments (i.e., tasting room and Wine Club), you can segment Account Users for future analytics and tracking.
Permissions of User Roles
There are currently two User Roles available within WineDirect. They are Staff and Store Admin. Both roles have different permissions within each section of your WineDirect Dashboard. The different permissions can be found in the table below.

Accepting User Account Invitation
Once an invite is sent to a new account user, whether they are a Store Admin or Staff, this is what they will see from their end:
1. The invited User will be sent an email with an access Link to create a password for their login access.
2. Once the invitee either clicks the Accept Invitation Button or the link, a new window will open in their browser. This new window will prompt them to create a password that must be at least seven characters long and contain a combination of uppercase and lowercase characters, numbers, and symbols.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Invitation links expire after 72 hours. A new invitation must be sent if the User fails to create a password in the first 72 hours.
3. After clicking SET PASSWORD, the new User will be directed to your WineDirect Homepage with full permission of whichever User Role you have designated them as.
