Article summary

If multiple locations, storefronts, or product groupings need different POS Profiles, clicking the 'ADD PROFILE' button at the top right of the page will open a new window to fill in the same fields as the profile settings. By saving this new profile, multiple profiles will now be available within the POS app.

Editing Existing POS Profiles

By clicking the Elipses (...) on the far right side of the default POS Profile, you can select to have the profile as Inactive and therefore not be available in the Point of Sale App, or edit the Profile by clicking Profile Settings.

Important Note: Remember to click Submit at the bottom of the settings page to save any changes made.

Profile Settings

Once Profile settings is selected, a new window will open with fields that can be customized.

When a Product Category is selected in the POS Profile settings, that category and its corresponding products will be available in the POS application.

Tip Settings

Tipping for POS Profiles is optional and can be enabled or disabled by toggling the switch below "Manage your tip settings here." If Tipping is enabled, then each Profile will need to have one of two options selected:

  1. Percentage of Total - Select three percentage options for customers to choose from. No Tip and Custom Tip will be automatic and mandatory options.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Percentage tips are calculated on an order's total (including taxes and fees), not the subtotal.
  2. Custom Tips Only - Customers can select to either give no tip or tip an amount they choose.
