WinDirect has created a built-in Basic Shipping Compliance where Store Admins can choose where to ship orders within the USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
To get to the WineDirect Basic Compliance, Login to WineDirect > Settings > Compliance.
Turning on the Off-Site Shipping switch indicates you wish to ship orders that were made online.
Turning on the On-Site Shipping switch indicate you wish to ship orders that were made in person (i.e., in the tasting room)
Customizing Non-Compliant Location
If you wish not to send orders to a specific location, select the ellipsis (...) on the far right of that location > Destination Settings. On the screen that appears, you can write a custom message that will appear at checkout to customers of that location, explaining that their order cannot be shipped.
Before selecting Submit, click the Off-Site and On-Site Orders slider to grey. This will confirm that orders cannot be sent to this location.
