Create a SendGrid Account

SendGrid's cloud-based email infrastructure relieves businesses of the cost and complexity of maintaining custom email systems. SendGrid provides reliable delivery, scalability, and real-time analytics.

Create a SendGrid Account in WineDirect

The SendGrid integration can be found by Logging into WineDirect > Settings > Integrations. Once on the WineDirect Integration page, if no SendGrid account is associated with the storefront, the following tile will be seen: To begin the account creation, click 'CREATE ACCOUNT.' A new window will open where an email address and password must be entered.

IMPORTANT NOTE: SendGrid requires a 2FA (two-factor authentication) when signing in. Ensure that the email used to set up the SendGrid integration is a company email that is accessible company-wide. This must be a real email address with an active inbox. Information on how to set up 2FA correctly can be found HERE.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain numbers, symbols, and upper and lower case letters.

If the setup is successful, the WineDirect Integration page will show the following tile:

Once submitted, go to app.sendgrid.com and use the login credentials created in WineDirect to open the SendGrid Admin Panel and begin utilizing the integration.
