Shipping Carrier Codes

When offering multiple shipping methods, it is required to identify a Shipping Carrier Code (Service Level) to communicate with an external fulfillment service how to ship a customer's order to them.

To find Shipping Carrier Codes, log into WineDirect > Settings > Shipping Carrier Codes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Shipping Zone and Shipping Methods will auto-populate based on the Ecommerce Shipping Zone Configuration.

Adding Service Level Carrier Codes

A recognized Service Level Carrier Code must be associated with a shipping method to function in a particular shipping zone. 

To add a Carrier Code to a shipping method, click the ellipses (...) to the far right of a row and select Manage Carrier Codes.

A new window will open, requiring a Service Level Carrie Code to be chosen from a drop-down menu. Select the appropriate code based on the shipping zone and method.
