System Emails

System emails are automatic notifications sent once specific actions are taken within WineDirect that affect customers. The purpose of these emails is to automate customer activity notifications and to ensure compliance with privacy laws.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only Customer (Relationship Added) system emails are available to WineDirect users. More will be available in the future.
Enabling System Emails
A Twilio SendGrid account must be integrated with WineDirect for system emails to be activated and edited. After successful integration, mandatory setup action items need to be completed before activating a system email.
To get to the SendGrid integration, sign into WineDirect > Settings > Integrations.
Customer (Relationship Added) Email
A Customer (Relationship Added) system email is a notification sent to a new relationship's email account when they are added to a customer profile in WineDirect.
To add a new relationship to a customer profile in WineDirect, go to CUSTOMERS > Select a Customer > RELATIONSHIPS > + ADD RELATION.
Set System Email to Active
Once the Twillio SendGrid integration is enabled, under System Emails in Winedirect, the Customer (Relationship Added) row will indicate an 'Inactive' status.
To change the 'Inactive' status to 'Active,' select the ellipses (...) at the far right of the row and fill in the same fields to create an Email Campaign.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be no Scheduling Settings in the System Email details as they are sent automatically when actions are taken with WineDirect.
After all mandatory fields are filled in and submitted, the System Email status will be set to 'Active.' From then, customers' new relationships will automatically be notified via email when they are added to a customer profile.
