When a customer is ready to pay, press the Charge Total button at the bottom of the cart. Once pressed, a new window will open, allowing EMV Terminal, Credit card swipe, manual credit card entry, or Pay with cash. Once payment is processed, the order information will be sent directly to the Order Management system within the WineDirect main account. Once the payment is confirmed, receipt options emailing, printing, or saving as a PDF will be displayed.

Tipping

Suppose tipping has been enabled in the POS Profile within the WineDirect main account once a form of payment is selected. In that case, the user will be directed to pass the iPad to the guest, who will then be able to top the screen and be taken to a tipping option page.

A guest will always have the option not to tip or to add a custom tip if they do not wish to select the percentage options provided.

Once a tip is selected, the guest will be prompted to hand back the iPad so the user can process the necessary payment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Tips, including shipping and taxes, are calculated on an order total.

Manual Credit Card Entry

Cybersource payments are if a customer wishes to pay with a credit card before implementing WIneDirect POS hardware. All credit card information is required, including CVV, and checking customer identification before entering a credit card manually is strongly encouraged.
