Article summary

Single Allocation With One Or More Products

An allocation page is a set format; if you/your client is using allocations, please reference the product detail page image below with the notes for this page.

Please note that allocated wine pages do not use the dynamic shopping cart in the upper right of your webpage. Unlike the regular wine pages (1-Up, 2-Up, etc.), this allocation page does not link to the product detail page. Allocated wine cannot be purchased from the product detail page, so we removed the ability to send them to this page from the allocations page (removed from the product image and product title).

A) Free Form Text

Optional. You can add text or a page title to the allocation page above the products. I added it through the content editor tools.

B) Allocation Name

Required. The allocation name shows below the page title and content of the allocation page. This name is automatically added when you create an allocation through the allocation builder tool.

C) End Date

Required. The end date is automatically added when you allocate through the allocation builder tool.

D) Ship Date

It is required/Optional. The 'Ships' text must be displayed on the allocation page; however, the date itself is unnecessary. You can have 'Ship:' with no date or 'Ships: Month, DD, YYYY.' The month shows in the three-letter format. This will always show below the allocation name and the first product within the allocation.

E) Image

Optional. If an image is added, it will always show on the left side of the product detail page. You cannot have text/images directly above or below the product image. You cannot have the product image on the right or any other location than the left side of the page. Only. JPG or. PNG file types will work for these images. If you add multiple product images, only the first image will show on any listing page; all other images will show below the main image as a thumbnail. If there is only one image, there will be no thumbnail. Unlike the regular wine pages (1-Up, 2-Up, etc.), the product image is not linked to the product detail page.

F) Product Title

Required. This is added automatically through the e-commerce tools when you/your client adds their products to the Vin65 platform. This will be a heading 1. This will show above all of the text on the product page. Occasionally people like the vintage in the title; if you'd like this in the title, you/your client needs to add it into the 'Product Title' when adding a product to the e-commerce section. Unlike the regular wine pages (1-Up, 2-Up, etc.), the product title is not linked to the product detail page.

G) SKU

Required. The SKU will show to the left of the Product Title.

H) Teaser

Optional. This is added automatically through the e-commerce tools when you/your client adds their products to the Vin65 platform. This will show on the list and detail pages if there is a teaser. You cannot show it on only the list page; it must show on both the list and detail pages if there is a teaser. This will show below the product title but above the add-to-cart buttons.

I) Minimum Order Qty

Required. This will always show on your right-hand side of the product and the first of the 'purchasing display information.' It automatically pulls the minimum purchase quantity entered while creating the allocation in the allocation tool.

J) Your Total Allocation

Required. This will always show on your right-hand side of the product and the second of the 'purchasing display information' below me. It will automatically pull in the maximum purchase quantity entered while creating the allocation in the allocation tool.

K) Amount Prev Purchased

Required. This will always show on your right-hand side of the product and the third of the 'purchasing display information' below J. It will automatically show the consumer's purchase quantity for this allocation's product.

L) Order Amount

Required. This will always show on your right-hand side of the product and the fourth of the 'purchasing display information' below K. It will automatically default to the maximum purchase quantity entered while creating the allocation in the allocation tool. Still, the consumer can change this to whatever quantity they'd like. The quantity field cannot be a drop-down menu.

M) Request Amount Above Your Allocation of X

Required. This will always show on your right-hand side of the product and the fifth of the 'purchasing display information' below L. It is an open quantity field so consumers can request additional allocated wines beyond the designated maximum set up in the allocation builder tool.

N) Additional Products

Optional. If your allocation includes multiple products, it will repeat the letters E through M for all products.

O) Add Allocation To Cart

Required. This will display below all products in the allocation. You can change the button text through the Resource Bundle tool; button styling is editable through CSS.

Multiple Allocations With One Or More Products

All letters are the same as outlined above; however, each allocation will show above the other. A line break will be below the first allocation's 'Add Allocation to Cart' button and above the next allocation's title. This will repeat for any/all allocations that a consumer belongs to.

Please note when a customer purchase purchases, they are taken directly to their shopping cart to proceed with their order. Only products in the same allocation will be added to the cart. If a person has multiple allocations, they must purchase them separately, as you can only add one allocation to the cart at a time.
