Article summary

The Email section lets users view all email documents sent to customers via the WineDirect platform. This will enable users to see precisely which emails (including System Emails) were sent to an individual and some statistics about that emailed document. Statistics include whether the customer opened the email and clicked on any links within the email.

Below are some definitions for the Email tab:

DateThe date that the email was sent.
SubjectThe email document's subject line.
OpenThis column indicates whether the customer opened the email document or not. The values can either be Yes or No. Suppose the customer uses an email browser such as Outlook and does not display images within the email document. In that case, the WineDirect system considers this email as being previewed and will not count it as being opened.
Click BackIf you have any links within the document to your website or another website, these clicks will register as a click back when the customer clicks on the links.

View Email Details

To view the details of the email you sent to the client, click on the magnifying glass. This feature allows an admin user to view the contents of the email document that goes out to customers. The paper will be displayed on the modal window.

Resend Email

This feature allows admin users to quickly resend any email documents that a customer has been sent previously. This option is helpful if a customer has a spam filter that once blocked the initial paper sent; admin users can send a new copy to a contact by clicking the Resend Email button.
