Portal Account
In the portal account sub-menu option, you can manage your account information and view your customer access.
Pickup/Delivery Locations
In the pickup and deliveries locations sub-menu option, you can maintain the locations associated with your supplier accounts for deliveries and pickups. Each site will represent a place from or to which products might be picked up or delivered.
These sites can represent your office location, a warehouse facility, or a third-party location.
After searching your account, you will see a list of available sites, these sites can be downloaded to an excel spreadsheet, or you can add a new location.
Selecting the Add a New Location button will bring up a pop-up window where you can add a new site code address and information about that new pickup/delivery location.
Email Deliverability
Configuring SPF
To ensure the proper delivery of notifications, you must add an include for _spf.winedirect.com in your SPF record. An SPF record is a Domain Name Service (DNS) record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send emails on behalf of your domain. The purpose of an SPF record is to prevent spammers from sending messages with forged From addresses at your domain. Adding this information will permit WineDirect to send the consumer email shipments on your company's behalf. Below is an example of a properly configured SPF record with _spf.winedirect.com included:
Before: "v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all"
After: "v=spf1 include:_spf.winedirect.com include:_spf.google.com ~all"
Optional Configuration (if you use WineDirect Ecommerce)
If you are a customer using WineDirect Ecommerce, you must include _spf.vin65.com in your SPF record.
Example: "v=spf1 include:_spf.winedirect.com include:_spf.google.com include:_spf.vin65.com ~all"
Templates
The menu templates will direct you to either the shipments or exception templates created and will send notification emails to your customers.
Selecting either the shipments or the exception options, you can search by your account, view your list of active shipment notifications or exception notifications and add new templates to either your shipments or exception notifications.
For an in-depth rundown of the templates, please get in touch with your account manager.
E-mail Preferences
For any email preferences sub-menu option, you can set the email preferences for your Wine Direct Fulfillment account. As important events or milestones are met in the fulfillment operation, you can be notified via email and update the email preferences anytime.
Packing Slips
The packing slip sub-menu option allows you to create and assign the packing slip templates used at the fulfillment center for inclusion within qualified shipments.
You can view any currently created templates or add new ones. Please note that although there is no size limit, the recommended character allowance for the marketing message is 700 characters, including spaces. Any marketing message exceeding 700 characters may run the risk of having the packing slip printed out on two (2) pages.
After creating or adding new templates, you can assign the packing slip templates to the different order types in the system.
