Delivery Exception Notifications

The purpose of the Delivery Exceptions report is to send the customer an email when an exception has been reported by the carrier.  The WineDirect Fulfillment platform is connected directly via API to all major carriers, and when an exception is detected, our portal receives that information immediately; allowing the user to notify customers in real-time. 

The user can composite detailed messages to their recipients, including tracking events and exception comments being populated directly within the email so that the customer does not have to click the tracking link and be sent to the carrier website. 

Composition of the exception email notifications is the same as the shipping notification emails in that whenever a specific 'token' is pasted into the email body, that specific action will populate when sent to the recipient.
