Specify one or multiple email addresses to be notified of incoming website orders, club orders, and updates made to customer accounts. The first email listed is also repurposed as the "From" email address for outgoing communications.
The notification email address is enabled through Website Settings and can only be edited by a user with developer access. If you don't have access or want us to update it on your behalf, please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org.
Admin notifications are a convenient way to track what is happening at your winery. You'll see an overview of new orders and updates made to customer accounts for each notification email. See below for the full list of admin emails sent.
Currently, types of notifications cannot be segmented to send to different admins.
Customer Account Changes
When a customer logs online to your store and updates various information, you'll receive an admin notification email with the corresponding details. For each email, if any information was updated, you'll see it crossed out, and the new information added by the customer will be highlighted in green. See below for examples of each email type.
A new customer account is created.
The customer's profile/account is edited.
The customer's shipping address is added or edited
The customer's Credit card is added or edited
The customer's club membership is edited

"From" Email Suffix
The first email address listed as the Notification Email will be the primary "From" email on new documents created. For this reason, we recommend using a generic email address such as email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
For example: When email@example.com is listed as the first Notification Email address,you'll see that the email was pre-populated to the "From Email" field when creating a new email document. While the beginning of the speech can be updated, the domain name cannot be.
Admin user email notification is strictly for admin panel functions. If you receive customer replies, it is not from admin user email notifications. If you wish to have your email removed/edited for better customer contact, please navigate to your Email Documents and change the email address field in each email document.
